It's University Now

Paid my fees for Pharmacy course in Monash yesterday and I feel like oh gosh, I'm about to be a university student soon. Feels like I've grown up too fast. I used to think being a grown up is cool, fun etc better than a kid where parents control what you do but now I kinda miss my small kiddo days. Paying my fees meant that I'm gona start a new journey in life, a course which would determine my future. I had a lot of what ifs these few days on studying Pharmacy.

What if I can't cope with the subjects?
What if I fail any of them? (TOUCHWOOD!)
What if I'm so homesick I cry everyday?
What will happen at home?

All kinds of questions actually. Things I did recently like booking my air ticket, paying my fees yada yada yada, all made me tear a little. I'm gona be mega homesick since I'm so attached to my family, being a princess and daddy's girl since young. Living alone with friends, doing everything on my own (cooking, laundry, grocery shopping etc) made me feel really sad and I suddenly asked myself, is studying in Aussie really what I want? Since young, I'm always telling my aunts and uncles and cousins or whoever that I'm gona study in Aussie in the future. It's like a kid's dream to study in Aussie for me. Now, when I'm going in less than 2 months, I feel super sad, super berat hati. They say it's normal and when you reach Melbourne you'll love it there. I really do hope so. I can't afford to disappoint my parents cuz it costs half a million for me to finish my course in Aussie. Killer isn't it? I might as well own a uni next time, gosh!

So for now, I really hope for the best in my studies. My achievement now is to do good in this course Procrastinate lesser and work harder. Cannot afford to be lazy at all for sure. I just hope and pray that I wont fail any papers. I need all the luck and wisdom to go through this 4 years. I hope to show people that although Pharmacy is tough, I enjoyed the studying part. Which course won't be tough right?

First Time in Singapore

Finally I stepped foot into Singapore. And I must say, it's waaaaaay better than Malaysia in so many ways. I feel safer eventhough if it was walking alone at near midnight in the tunnel to the MRT station. No snatch thieves, no rapists, no robbers, nada. In Malaysia, if you were to walk alone at the same time to the KTM station, you'll definitely get robbed or raped no doubt. Stayed at Rishi's place for the 3 days, thank you so much Rishi (if you're reading this) for everything!

Flight to Singapore was hell. I dont know is it because the pilot is new or the plane was facing technical problems. We experienced free fall of more than 100 feet for 3 times or more. People in the plane screamed and I could feel that G-shock thingy in my stomach. Literally wanted to just get out of the plane at that time but it was impossible. The free fall was scary cuz you feel as if the plane was gona just crash on the ground beneath us. But for me, worst experience in the plane after 18 years. I think I have a slight phobia of sitting on AirAsia planes now. On the way back, the plane was shaky and I would hold the handle everytime the plane starts shaking. My point proven. Gosh.

Anyways, first day was to City Hall and Marina Bay Sands. Handburger for lunch and then proceeded to Marina Bay Sands for some shopping. Ralph Lauren there was so much cheaper than in Malaysia. Can get daddy's polo tee for RM240 instead of the usual RM360 here in Malaysia. Headed to Ku De Ta the bar at 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands. Amazing view, the breeze just made it even more perfect.

Second day was Orchard Day. Walked about at Orchard. Main destination was H&M. Spent almost 2 hours there but only bought a coat for myself and a beret for sis. Lunch at The Soup Spoon. Ordered Thai Chicken Salad. Super filling and tasty, yuumsss! Was so tired of walking around at Orchard that we headed home but before that, I stopped by at City Hall again to get some snacks for grandparents. Rishi's parents took us out for dinner at Singapore Cricket Club. Food there was delicious! Then headed to Robert Timms for a catch up session and headed home.

And finally, spent the third day was at Universal Studios. Covered almost all the rides. Yen Thin friggin dragged me to Battlestar Galactica Human and I almost died on the roller coaster. Loved the Tranformers ride and Shrek 4D movie. Steven Spielberg was good as well. We were there till about 5pm and it started raining so we had to go off. It was fun no doubt but god damn tiring.

Will definitely come to Singapore again since I didnt do much shopping this time. Enjoyed my 3 days there. Super thankful to Rishi for accommodation.

Just Lunch + Dinner

Had farewell lunch for Rishi who will be starting NS on the 10th of January and I think this coming Singapore trip will be sorta the last time we'll be seeing him since we'll be all so busy when uni starts. Sad :(:( So we went to La Casa for lunch.
At night, I joined the high school mates ie Puili, Sheeril, Ade, Shah, Suren, Kim and Daniel for dinner in Vivo as a gathering. Ade and Kim surprised Shah with a piece of cake as a birthday thingy. Had loads of fun camwhoring as usual. Miss this habit of mine, Puili's and Sheeril's in high school

TCSH Prom 2011

I finally have the time to blog and since I'm bored, why not? So, last Friday, Taylor's had our prom at Crowne Plaza Mutiara KL. Booked a room in the hotel to ease our convenience since the event only ended at 12am and my parents will definitely NOT drive all the way to KL to pick me up so yeah we got a room. 9 of us in one room, yes believe it, NINE. 4 on the bed, me on the couch and another 4 on the floor. The joys of being a teenager.

So, followed Ems with Yen Thin to Genius Clip in Taman Tun to get our hair done. Really loved my hairdo for the night, thanks to the hairstylists. Appointment at 1pm but only finished 3 of our hairdos at 3.30pm. Went all the way back to Crowne Plaza, checked in and rested before Ems started with our make up. Good job ladyyy, love the outcome of my make up. Went down only at 7.30pm, as usual us being girls, late as always. Food wasnt really good but best time of the night was dancing for 2 whole hours. All of us went crazy grooving to the music. I enjoyed it to bits!

Felt hungry in the middle of the night so decided to walk to McD at Bukit Bintang for supper. Did first impressions of the 8 people and slept only at 5am. But, it's no doubt, the best night after my SAM life. :):)
