Paid my fees for Pharmacy course in Monash yesterday and I feel like oh gosh, I'm about to be a university student soon. Feels like I've grown up too fast. I used to think being a grown up is cool, fun etc better than a kid where parents control what you do but now I kinda miss my small kiddo days. Paying my fees meant that I'm gona start a new journey in life, a course which would determine my future. I had a lot of what ifs these few days on studying Pharmacy.
What if I can't cope with the subjects?
What if I fail any of them? (TOUCHWOOD!)
What if I'm so homesick I cry everyday?
What will happen at home?
What if I'm so homesick I cry everyday?
What will happen at home?
All kinds of questions actually. Things I did recently like booking my air ticket, paying my fees yada yada yada, all made me tear a little. I'm gona be mega homesick since I'm so attached to my family, being a princess and daddy's girl since young. Living alone with friends, doing everything on my own (cooking, laundry, grocery shopping etc) made me feel really sad and I suddenly asked myself, is studying in Aussie really what I want? Since young, I'm always telling my aunts and uncles and cousins or whoever that I'm gona study in Aussie in the future. It's like a kid's dream to study in Aussie for me. Now, when I'm going in less than 2 months, I feel super sad, super berat hati. They say it's normal and when you reach Melbourne you'll love it there. I really do hope so. I can't afford to disappoint my parents cuz it costs half a million for me to finish my course in Aussie. Killer isn't it? I might as well own a uni next time, gosh!
So for now, I really hope for the best in my studies. My achievement now is to do good in this course Procrastinate lesser and work harder. Cannot afford to be lazy at all for sure. I just hope and pray that I wont fail any papers. I need all the luck and wisdom to go through this 4 years. I hope to show people that although Pharmacy is tough, I enjoyed the studying part. Which course won't be tough right?
