Of Birthdays and St. Kilda Beach

I'm FINALLY on the mid sem break now. Melb Uni get 2 weeks off, wtf? But I end exams a week earlier hehe. So pros and cons. Exam timetable has been published and this time my exams are spread over 3 weeks with the 1st and 2nd paper having a one week gap, UGHH! So, I'm confirmed flying home on the 17th of November now. So, what have I been doing for this September? Celebrate birthdays after birthdays, no kidding.So many September babies! Celebrated Ade's one with a surprise at her apartment and Rach baked a chocolate cake for her with penguins on top. Ahh, the cuteness. She kinda expected there's something going on though, sighs. Skyped Pui Li as well! Hahha, reunited :D

 And a few days after that, it was Joshua's birthday. Decided to do the surprising thing again. This time, went for dinner at Ghin Khao. The others were in his room busy filling it up with balloons as a surprise. But somehow he knew that we have something in plan and he kept asking me about it, GRR! So hard to distract him. But all is well. After dinner, Ellya joined us at Arrow bringing her Oreo cheesecake in hand. We barged into his room singing the birthday song. 

Next was Karina's birthday. See what I mean by September babies. haha. The girls also planned a surprise for her. I think surprises are in trend now lols. Some of them went to buy food, Carmen and I made pasta and salad for the dinner. Pei Yu was in charge of distracting her and all of us went up to her apartment in Zen holding all the food stuff and wearing our headbands, knocked on her door and tadah! SURPRISE! She was dumbstruck, quite funny to see her face haha. Kept thanking us and all, well, what are friends for right? :)

And for my partner in crime's birthday, Pui Li, I skyped her teehee! Talked for 2 whole hours about everything that's been going on in our lives. I miss her loads especially jogging and cycling with her. I'll be back, girlfriend! Sadly, in September is also goodbyes. Yen Thin and Shahrul, two of my closest peeps flew to UK for studies. And I'll only be able to see Shah in June and that's if I'm even flying back! :( But, I wish the two of you all the best in your studies and don't party TOO hard just in case something happens haha. But knowing Shah who is crazily in love with Joey, I trust him. 

Last Saturday, went for house inspection. Still keeping my options open and finding for a better looking and comfy place. After that, headed to St. Kilda Beach with my 2 besties and Ken. So nice, just getting away from the city.
