It's been a week since 2013 had begun. I kinda feel that this year will pass way faster than 2012 though I would prefer it to slow down a lil. 2012 was no doubt an amazing year for me. Going to Melbourne alone without my family is the biggest achievement so far. I'm very attached to my family and I felt that was quite a big step I took in life and I didn't regret it. I love Melbourne especially the environment there. Meeting new people, creating new friendship bonds. It's really great to have people I'm close to there. No doubt I've enjoyed Melbourne a lot but now that I've been back in Malaysia for a month and a half, I really dread to go back. I'll be homesick all over again but what's life? Growing up, turning a year older. Wow, I'm actually scared of growing up now. Hoping for the best for my future.
So 2013, I decided not to make any New Year's resolutions this year because cutting down on shopping will ALWAYS top my New Years resolution but I failed every single year. So I figured what the heck, just go with the flow and live life at its best. I do hope I'll continue doing better in my course. I'm glad I passed first year with the amount of stress I went through. Second year will be tougher, more challenging, oh gosh more stress, mehhh. I would also hope that it wouldn't be a breakdown year for me. I don't have regrets in the decision I made all this while and I would just want to enjoy it while iyt lasts, not thinking what will happen next but sometimes when the conscious mind takes over, it's a matter of tears.
First weekend of 2013, spent it in Penang with my favorite bunch. It's been way too long since ALL of us except Shahrul who's in the UK, were together as a gang since everyone have different timing of classes and breaks. But finally, we managed to squeeze in some time to go to Penang together. I enjoyed this trip very much although most of the time we were unsure of what to do or where to go lols. The roads are quite confusing and for some reason, the roads are all one way. We didn't really do sight seeing. It was much of a spend-time-together trip. We were food hunting, chilling in the beach and playing drinking or card games the whole time. But it's because of the great company that it doesn't matter. So much fun, so relaxing. No stress just us being us. Hopefully, our Krabi trip will actually work out because 3 days was definitely NOT enough. thank you guys for such an amazing time.
