Just Lunch + Dinner

Had farewell lunch for Rishi who will be starting NS on the 10th of January and I think this coming Singapore trip will be sorta the last time we'll be seeing him since we'll be all so busy when uni starts. Sad :(:( So we went to La Casa for lunch.
At night, I joined the high school mates ie Puili, Sheeril, Ade, Shah, Suren, Kim and Daniel for dinner in Vivo as a gathering. Ade and Kim surprised Shah with a piece of cake as a birthday thingy. Had loads of fun camwhoring as usual. Miss this habit of mine, Puili's and Sheeril's in high school

TCSH Prom 2011

I finally have the time to blog and since I'm bored, why not? So, last Friday, Taylor's had our prom at Crowne Plaza Mutiara KL. Booked a room in the hotel to ease our convenience since the event only ended at 12am and my parents will definitely NOT drive all the way to KL to pick me up so yeah we got a room. 9 of us in one room, yes believe it, NINE. 4 on the bed, me on the couch and another 4 on the floor. The joys of being a teenager.

So, followed Ems with Yen Thin to Genius Clip in Taman Tun to get our hair done. Really loved my hairdo for the night, thanks to the hairstylists. Appointment at 1pm but only finished 3 of our hairdos at 3.30pm. Went all the way back to Crowne Plaza, checked in and rested before Ems started with our make up. Good job ladyyy, love the outcome of my make up. Went down only at 7.30pm, as usual us being girls, late as always. Food wasnt really good but best time of the night was dancing for 2 whole hours. All of us went crazy grooving to the music. I enjoyed it to bits!

Felt hungry in the middle of the night so decided to walk to McD at Bukit Bintang for supper. Did first impressions of the 8 people and slept only at 5am. But, it's no doubt, the best night after my SAM life. :):)

Chung Mae, oh, Chung Mae

I. Need. To. Get. A. Life.
People's been asking me how's life after SAM, what am i doing and I always give the same reply: rotting at home. I'm seriously so bored I can die. I cant always go shopping since I know I'm gona spend quite a bit in Singapore and Taiwan especially when I found out that trench coats in Zara Taiwan are at least 100 MYR cheaper than the Zara here. Obviously buy there right, duh? And I don't really see anything I would like to get my hands on everytime I got to the mall. Best part, I've been going to KLCC, Curve and 1U in these 2 weeks. I found nothing, nada.

I was so bored I actually went Christmas shopping with my mum. And Christmas is still more than a month's time. Lifeless much? Oh, and, I went for hair treatment in the salon to kill time. Seriously, I'm so bored that I do these kinda stuff. Weekdays, I usually sit home and watch dramas or sleep.

The event I'm looking forward to now is prom which is 6 days from now and dinner with the high school bunch. Missed them lots! But I've already gotten almost everything for prom. My dress, my heels, the tickets, hairdo that I want, make up artist (ems), cash etc. The only thing I'm debating with myself now is whether I should get contacts or not. Dad isn't really keen on me getting one since my power is quite high :/ And my friends been telling me I look good in specs but that's cuz I never really seen them without my specs before. This is so mafan! Ughh.

Looking Back at My Resolutions

  1. Do well in SAM course. I need good grades to get into Monash University
  2. Get my freaking HTC or Blackberry already! I'm so frustrated with my phone, i really feel like throwing it to the wall.
  3. Get down to baking. I seriously need to start baking again with my mum
  4. Buy LESSER clothes and shoes. I hope this works ;)
  5. Go to Singapore for a day at least. I haven't been there before. WTH!
  6. Get a chance to drive my dad's car and NOT bang anything.
  7. Clubbing with my girlfriends at a safe, no smoking place. Right girls? :)
  8. Do more charity. I believe in karma :)
  9. Polish my nails with 10 different colours
  10. Do not gain weight at all! I mean it

Seriously? Only 4/10 is achieved?
1. SAM is over and I guess I did okay, so it's achieved
2. I got my Blackberry already, good for me
5. Going to Singapore with yen thin in Dec. Soon to be achieved
10. I really did not gain weight, in fact, I lost weight. And I lost it because of SAM, both good and
     bad. Huge achievement!

3. Promised my sis I'll do it one day, just dont know when
4. This never worked, I realised I shop more this year than any others years. :S
6. Sadly, my dad never allowed me to touch his car. tsk
7. Realised I'm not much of a clubbing person after all, so I never did it. I went for drinks but not clubs
8. No charity is too much, so this is never achieved
9. Got lazy to polish my nails, maybe during new year's eve I will :)

Life After SAM

I'm on a 3 months holiday break before uni starts and seriously, although I really looked forward to this holiday few weeks ago, it's starting to get boring. I've been doing nothing but watching korean dramas and gossip girl. I'm done with Secre Garden, My Princess and Gossip Girl Season 4. Think I'm going blind just staring at the laptop screen the whole day. Honestly, I have nothing else to do. I don't even know what to do anymore. Waking up at 10 or 11am everyday and rot at home till I feel sleepy at night. I need a better life than this man but I know I'll have to enjoy this nothing-to-do time before my uni starts in February.

Oh yes, I've been shopping but the real shopping spree starts when I go for my holidays. Kinda saving for them especially when I need to buy winter clothings for aussie next year. And Karen told me Zara is cheaper in Taiwan so hallelujah! I need a few trench coats, honestly. And more comfy sorta uni clothes, and something that I wont freeze in during winter. I cannnot have my wheezing attack in aussie, no freaking way!

Prom in 10 days. That's something to look forward to. Then Singapore trip for 4 days and a week after that, Taiwan for 8 days. By the time I'm back in Malaysia, it'll be Christmas and New Year's. So, I have approximately 2 weeks till November ends and my crazy ass December starts. Results coming in (*gulps*), time to settle uni stuff, get done with 2011, and have a good 2012. I need to make a new resolution. Seeing my resolution for this year, I achieved only a few, meehhh.

Australia or UK?

This is crazy. I just finished my finals yesterday and my dad's already talking about going into uni. So first, I've been wanting to go Australia to study in Monash. That was like my thing since Form 3. But, my dad decided that I should go UK cuz 1) their ranking is higher than all Australian uni 2) I'm far away from the Asian people cuz Aus is a Malaysian kampung, my dad calls it and 3) it's cheaper. Yes, it's cheaper by at least RM 30k.

One year to study in Monash Melbourne plus living expenses etc is about RM 135k. But, in UK, London actually, my total bill will only come up to about 120k. And that's ONE year. I have 4 years so yeah, do the maths yourself and you'll see what I mean. But, I've been persuading my dad to allow me to continue my studies in Melbourne rather than London. London is what, 12 hours of flight? And 7 hours time difference. Goodness me. I'll be so homesick I'll cry everyday. Yes, UK has a better education system but finding a job in Aus would be so much easier than finding a job in UK next time.

If I were to apply to UK, I'll apply to King's College London, University of London and Universiry of Manchester. BUT, their ATAR requirement is god damn high. King's College needs an ATAR of 96! Holly mama. That's 2A and 2A-. Yeah it's not easy to get 2A's in college. In Taylors, A is friggin 88! This uni thing is seriously driving me nuts. I honestly don't wana go to UK, it's so gloomy there. But for a better education, tsk, fine
